Formation of carpark on top of dunes on Marine Parade South, 1988

At its next meeting (9 October) the Waitakere Ranges Local Board is expected to endorse a Dune Management Plan for the area of Piha beach south of Lion Rock.

The plan has been developed by Jim Dahm, following public meetings and further discussions with stakeholder groups such as Piha Coastcare and Piha R&R.
