I snapped Piha’s Yvonne DuFaur and Robert Woolf of Ark in the Park at the launch of the Auckland Council’s draft Unitary Plan today (15 March 2013). We were having a look at the displays at the Viaduct Events Centre and in particular those of the Waitakere Ranges.
The Unitary Plan replaces all city and district council plans and the Regional Policy Statement and other regional plans.
The expo at the Viaduct Events Centre is on over this weekend.
People have until 31 May to give their feedback on the draft, which can be done online or by attending meetings or making a written submission.
