The afternoon of Saturday 26 October saw a big celebration at the Piha SLSC clubhouse as the members acknowledged the generosity of the Lions Club of Remuera.

Each year the Remuera Lions Club holds a World Festival of Magic with the proceeds going to a worthy recipient.

This year the lucky recipient was Piha Surf Club, with $80,000 of brand new equipment coming to the club.

An IRB complete with outboard motor was part of the gift, and there were also two beach vehicles seen in the photos below.
