The Men’s Championship Bowls was decided on Sunday 30 October at the Piha Bowling Club. It was a closely contested match, 16-all with two ends to go, but the final score was 18-16.

The winning four was Malcolm Donald, Keith Nelson, Paul Laidlaw and Renato de Fiore.

Runners-up were Geoff Wilkins, Larry Gibson, Greg Lucas and Tony Scott.
